Brand guardianship for The Hepworth Wakefield

The largest exhibition space outside London, The Hepworth Wakefield brings together exhibitions by contemporary artists, rarely seen works by Barbara Hepworth and Wakefield’s permanent art collection.

We’ve worked with The Hepworth Wakefield since 2012 and been fortunate enough to work on wide ranging projects from; exhibition campaign advertising, seasonal window installations, limited edition books, Annual Reviews, to their quarterly What’s On visitor guides and everything in between to ensure that the brand is applied consistently and creatively across multiple channels.

‘1 Hepworth Wakefield’ Annual Review.
Their first annual review made a virtue of the huge visitor figures they attracted in their first year.

The Common Room has worked on some of the highest profile exhibition campaigns for The Hepworth Wakefield, including Martin Parr and Stanley Spencer in 2016. These campaigns contributed to record visitor figures and our Museum of the Year win!

As brand guardians, The Common Room work across all areas of the organisation – from designing exhibition catalogues and interpretation materials to creating identities for our popular print fairs and craft markets.
